About Me!
Hi, I’m Kylee—poet, musician, and performer. Thank you so much for visiting my creative space.
Before the pandemic, I trained as a ballet dancer with the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. When I had to step away from dance, I found a new home in poetry, songwriting, and performance—new forms of movement and storytelling that helped me reclaim my voice.
In 2025, I earned my BA in English Language & Literature from Smith College, with a concentration in Poetry. During that time, I began writing Ballad From Between Two Mirrors, a collection that explores transformation, memory, identity, and collective longing. Throughout the collection, I weave intertextual references—song lyrics, lines from other poets, and cultural echoes—into the work, using them to interrogate the questions that rise from these themes.
This website is where I share my work—poems, creative process, and early sneak peeks of demos where I’m setting my poetry to music. It’s all part of a living, evolving practice that I hope resonates with others seeking beauty, truth, and fire (even just a little spark ~ that's all it takes).
